The Team of the Villa Winzerpark

Cooking is my passion. From a young age I knew I wanted to be a chef. After training in the Alsace some 30 years ago, I moved to Basel. My career started in renowned restaurants such as Schloss Bottmingen, The Avenue or Hans Stucky and I was awarded my first Michelin Star whilst head chef at Restaurant Martin in Flüh. In 2000 I took over the gastronomic arm of Roger Brennwald’s Tennis centre Paradise, building a strong catering division and was responsible for the main restaurant at the Swiss Indoors.

My cooking style has roots in classical French cuisine. I reinterpret traditional dishes for a contemporary palate and aspire to evoke memories and emotions through my food.
The project «Villa Winzerpark» inspired me from the very first moment. My goal is to combine outstanding cuisine and authentic service to create inviting and memorable experiences.

With the charm of an English country residence, The Villa Winzerpark is an inviting venue with unique facilities. Enjoy and experience our gardens, elegant terrace and three salons, or discover our wine cellar in the once indoor pool. We’re lucky to be one of the few venues in the region to offer such a range of dining and entertaining experiences.
